What to do: To renew your pet’s prescription, simply fill out the form below and click submit.
How it works:
1. Once we have received your request, we will call you to make the $35 prescription renewal payment over the phone. Please allow up to 24 hours before we can call you, as we may be within consultations.
2. Once paid, we will mail you a hard copy of the prescription to your home address.
3. When you have received the prescription, you can either take it into your local pharmacy if the medication is stocked, or you can order the medication online via petchemist.com.au
Timeline & Planning Ahead:
If you are planning to get the medication from an online pet chemist, the process from when we mail out the script to you, to when the medication is delivered by the pet chemist can take up to 10 business days. Ensure that you have enough medication left to allow for this time.
Need it sooner:
If you need the prescription more urgently, we are happy to hand-deliver the script for a fee of $20 on top of the prescription fee to make the process a little faster for you. The prescription can then be taken to your local pharmacy if the medication is stocked. Note: There is the option to get medication from us, however being a mobile practice we keep limited stock on hand and may not have your medication available to deliver. If we do have your medication available there is a $20 delivery fee, direct to your door, plus the cost of the medication.
Important information:
Filling out the below means that you have had an official consultation with us and our vet is familiar with your pet and their medical needs. It is a legal requirement that your pet’s medical needs are reviewed every 6 months at a minimum. Depending on the nature of the medical condition, your pet may need to be reviewed sooner. If you have not had an official visit with us or it has been more than 6 months, please contact us to book a consultation first.
