We understand that pets may exhibit aggressive behaviour due to anxiety, fear or pain, and we aim to create a safe and accommodating space for them. Kindly inform us if your pet displays aggression, as this information is crucial for implementing necessary safety measures.
Our Veterinarian prioritises the safety of all involved, including your pet, yourself and our team. Professional and safe handling techniques such as the use of a muzzle, fear-free restraints, or, if necessary, mild sedation, may be employed. Please note that under certain circumstances we may be unable to safely examine your pet, this will still incur a consultation fee with a comprehensive plan to implement to reduce your pets stress in future consults.
Our services are tailored to accommodate multi-pet households, recognising that each pet may have unique needs and reasons for a visit. Your pets’ individual needs are our priority, and we strive to make the Veterinary care process seamless for your entire household, therefore we offer multi-pet consultations.
We extend our compassionate support by providing home euthanasias, ensuring genuine and caring visits that honor your pet’s journey with the gentlest goodbye they deserve. In addition to our euthanasia services, we offer assistance in planning aftercare for your special friend through an external cremation company: Eden Hills. We collaborate with Eden Hills, a trusted company dedicated to fulfilling your aftercare preferences with the utmost care and respect.
For the well-being of your cats during our visit, kindly secure them in a quiet area with minimal hiding spaces. Ensure easy access to a blanket or towel, and please provide their favourite treats to make the experience more positive for your cat.
Similarly, for dogs, secure them in a place where they feel most comfortable. In cases where your dog may exhibit signs of aggression as a fear or pain response, they are required to have a collar or harness and lead for added safety. These measures contribute to a secure and stress-free environment during our visit.
To refill a prescription, it is necessary for the patient to have been seen by our Vet. Scripts and refills can be provided for up to 6 months, depending on the condition. It is a legal requirement for your pet to be physically examined at least once every 6 months for ongoing medications.
You can conveniently request a prescription refill through our website, via email, over the phone, or during your scheduled home visit. We strive to make the process seamless for you and ensure the continued well-being of your pet.
